An IP and research company building the standards behind agentic intelligence.
Extended Systems Intelligence Corporation is the AI research and product development subsidiary of Extended Systems, Inc. We author AIMS — an open governance standard for agentic systems — and a portfolio of sovereign-deployment products built on it.
Extended Systems, Inc.
Extended Systems, Inc. is the parent and holding company. Extended Systems Intelligence Corporation — legal-entity acronym ESIC, trade name XSI — is the AI subsidiary that owns the AIMS standard, the proprietary cloud services, the product portfolio, and the IP filings described on this site.
Public-brand surfaces use "XSI" or "Extended Systems Intelligence." Legal documents use ESIC or the full corporate name. Both are correct in their respective contexts.
Standards. Sovereignty. Reference deployment.
Agentic systems are entering production at scale before the governance vocabulary exists. We are authoring that vocabulary — AIMS — as an open standard, while building proprietary products that prove the spec by carrying its conformance. The standard makes the field. The products make the company.
Founded and led by Rhyan J. Neble.

In-house testing. Real hardware.
XSI maintains an in-house lab with reference hardware — XSI-DEVS-0001 dev server and XSI-LDST-0001 appliance — for empirical validation of AIMS conformance, LodeStone build verification, and partner-substrate testing. The Always Verify operational posture treats every published artifact as something the lab signed off on first.
Self-filing. Open standard. Proprietary mechanisms.
XSI self-files all USPTO matter — provisional patents, trademarks, defensive publications, copyrights — under the trade-secret-on-implementations principle. AIMS itself is open by intent; how XSI delivers AIMS in any specific product is the implementer's IP and stays proprietary.
